This week brings to campus Spring Into Wellness events at The Rec, a student seminar about United Launch Alliance's vision for a self-sustaining space economy, Students Demand Action chapter meeting, CU Student Government town hall, Ann Coulter event, BuffsUnited: Interwoven Intersectionalities, Environmental Design career fair, a talk exploring the changing frontiers of virtual reality, Game Night, and late-night bowling at The Connection.

Tuesday, March 20

Spring Into Wellness

Spring Into Wellness week continues at the Rec Center with a Build Your Own Wellness Kits event from 4 to 6 p.m. Visit the Rec Center website for the rest of the week’s events, including Rec Recess, a Sport Psychology Performance Workshop and Ecstatic Dance.

United Launch Alliance chief tackles self-sustaining space economy

Join Tory Bruno, president and CEO of , for a seminar about ULA’s vision for a self-sustaining space economy. The student seminar begins at 2 p.m. in the Engineering Center, room 245, and is open to all (first-come, first-served). The seminar also will be .


Wednesday, March 21

The CU Boulder chapter of  will host a meeting open to the CU Boulder community to discuss current legislative issues regarding gun control. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in Duane Physics, room G1B30. All are welcome.

Learn about the CU Student Government spring election at the election town hall! Meet the candidates who are running for the representatives at large and tri-executive positions, and enjoy free food while you are there. The town hall will be from 5 to 6 p.m. in UMC 235.

Ann Coulter event

If you have tickets (the event is sold out) and plan to see political commentator and author Ann Coulter speak in Chem 140, plan to get there early. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with Coulter's talk beginning at 7 p.m. Event entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and you must present a valid Buff OneCard for entry. Backpacks and other bags will not be permitted inside the event.

CU Boulder students, faculty and staff are hosting this event in celebration of positive community. Activities will start at 6 p.m. in the Old Main's third-floor Heritage Center; doors to the chapel will open at 6:30 p.m., and a program of performances, music, spoken word and dance will begin at 7 p.m. Voter registration also will be held on site during the event.

Come talk to the industry's leading professionals in design, architecture, landscape architecture and planning at the Environmental Design career fair at 5 p.m. in , room 134. Bring a portfolio and résumé. 


Thursday, March 22

Stop by Fiske Planetarium at 7 p.m. for this talk exploring the changing frontiers of virtual reality from its earliest origins to its fire-catching potential within contemporary times. Students get in free with a valid Buff OneCard.

Join the Education Undergraduate Student Ambassadors for a night of games, coloring and free pizza from 5 to 7 p.m. in Education 146.


Friday, March 23

Stop by The Connection from 7 p.m. to close for bowling black lights, lane lights and color pins. It's the only extreme bowling in Boulder, with 10 state-of-the-art bowling lanes.
