- The CU Athletic Department will hold a public memorial for legendary football coach Bill McCartney on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the CU Events Center. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 10 a.m. McCartney passed away on Friday, Jan. 10.
