Each faculty member in the Department of Theatre & Dance has professional experience in the performing arts and is committed to engaging students in the creation, performance, and analysis of theatre arts.
In and outside of the classroom you will find many opportunities for one-on-one interaction with professors through working on productions, independent research, creative projects, mentoring, and advising.

Scholarships & Awards
In addition to funds available from the university, students may qualify for awards from theÌýDepartment of Theatre & Dance.
OurÌýdepartment awards scholarships toÌýundergraduate and graduate level students eachÌýyear. BothÌýdivisions haveÌýscholarship opportunities ranging from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. StudentsÌýself-nominate or apply for certain awards and others are selected by faculty/staff vote.
Opportunities
