How to Get Started
All new clients must purchase aÌýfitness assessmentÌýand complete theÌýPersonal Training Registration Packet.ÌýYou may send your completed registration packet via email to sarah.granberry@colorado.eduÌýorÌýdrop off a printed copy at the Fit Well Suite at the Rec Center.
We recommend a minimum ofÌý3 training sessions for first time clients.

Fitness Assessment
WeÌýprovide aÌýcomprehensive fitness assessment using the MicroFit Health and Fitness System that provide a baseline of your current fitness level orÌýtrack fitness improvements over time.ÌýThe MicroFit fitness profile includes tests to determineÌýresting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition, aerobic capacity, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and power.
*Fitness assessments are required for all newÌýclients to help our trainers design safe, effective and individualized fitness programs to you meet your health and fitness goals.
Fitness assessments are also available as a stand alone service. Assessments can be purchased at Rec Center Guest Services for $25.

Personal Training
Our nationally certified personal trainers will provide motivation, education, guidanceÌýand individual instructionÌýto help you improve your overall fitness and achieve your goals. We will also support you in maximizingÌýyour workout while minimizing your risk for injury.

Partner Training
Do you preferÌýworking out with others? Try personal training with a friend, coworker, parentÌýor partner! Our nationally certified personal trainers will provide motivation, education, guidanceÌýand individual instructionÌýto help you improve your overall fitness and achieve your goals. We will also support you in maximizingÌýyour workout while minimizing your risk for injury.

Adaptive and Integrative Personal Training
Our Adaptive and Integrative Personal Training services make fitness accessible for all.ÌýWeÌýprovide personalized training services in a supportive environment.ÌýOur trainers can work with your team of healthcare professionals (with proper consent) to customize your training program.ÌýWhether you are a client facing exercise barriers due to permanent or temporary disabilities, anxiety/stress or sedentary lifestyle, we can develop personalizedÌýprograms to help you reach your fitness goals.

Private Instruction & Lessons
Get personalized attention for better results! Our private instruction and lessons are great for individuals who want to learn something new, immerse themselves in their practice or take their workout to the next level.
Private instruction is currently available for adult swim, adult ice skatingÌýand adult tennis.Ìý

Policies & Procedures
All sessions are one-hour in length unless noted otherwise.
Sessions are scheduled by appointment only and require aÌýminimum of 48 hours advance notice.ÌýRegister at the Rec Center Guest Services Desk and bring your receipt of purchase to the Wellness Suite to be matched with a trainer.
All personal training and private instruction sessions expire 1 year from date of purchase.ÌýUnused sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable.
