Dance: Head Coach
The head coach will be responsible to uphold rules, policies and procedures as specified in the CU Club Sport Handbook. They will be required to attend auditions, coaches/captains meetings, choreography practices, practices and competitions throughout the year. They will assist with preparing for all competitions and competition travel. They will need to help with scheduling of practices, fundraisers, competitions and travel. They will need to ensure safety of all team members throughout the season including practices and travel. This person will need to demonstrate competency in teaching, choreography and cleaning of routines as well as maintain a positive attitude throughout the season. This person will need to work effectively and professionally with administrators and collateral to help continue to develop and grow the program. They will assist in fundraising goals and opportunities.
The head coaches of the Colorado Club Dance Team will need to work effectively with the member-elected captains. This team is a collaborative effort and our captains are involved in all decisions made about the team.
We are looking for a coach that will be a dependable addition to our team and provide our members with valuable training and support. We are specifically looking for an applicant with a strong background in jazz, contemporary, pom, and hip hop technique, as well as experience cleaning and giving constructive feedback on competition routines.
- $3300 for full year
- 6 hours per week (May include additional Sunday practices when team learns choreography)

Interviews will be held with our current head coach and three captains for the upcoming season. A brief trial practice may be requested to showcase the applicants’ teaching ability.
Baseball: Men's Head Coach
- Baseball knowledge and experience

Fencing: Coach
- Pay $1,500 + fees for parking and rec pass
- Reporting to Club Fencing student leadership.
- Expectations include leading drills and footwork
- Giving one on one personal lessons during practice as requested
- Working with each weapon on technical skills
- During free fencing time expected to be watching fencers and giving advice when appropriate

Welcome to the CU Fencing Club, a vibrant and dynamic community that celebrates the art of fencing with passion and dedication. Our club is a welcoming environment where fencers of all skill levels can pursue their passion, hone their techniques, and take part in a thriving social scene.
Practices take place Tuesday and Thursday from 7-10 pm and Sunday from 11-1pm in the rec. We offer multiple pistes, modern equipment, and a dedicated space for physical conditioning. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced fencer, our club is equipped to meet your needs and help you achieve your goals.
For newcomers, we spend the first two weeks on introductory classes; designed to demystify the sport and provide a solid foundation in fencing fundamentals. These classes are an excellent way to get started and experience the excitement of fencing in a supportive environment. Experienced fencers will find ample opportunities to refine their techniques, participate in advanced training, and become a part of the team.
Our coaches bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every practice session. They are committed to providing personalized instruction that caters to individual skill levels and objectives. From foundational techniques to advanced strategies, our coaches and club leaders work with each member to foster improvement and build confidence.
The CU Fencing Club prides itself on its inclusive and supportive community. We offer a range of activities, including regular training sessions, friendly sparring matches, and local competitions. These events not only allow members to test their skills in a competitive setting but also to engage with others who share their enthusiasm for the sport. Our annual fall and end-of-year tournaments as well as our plethora of social gatherings are highlights of the club calendar, providing opportunities for social and competitive activities.
Volleyball: Women's Head Coach
The head volleyball coach provides leadership and guidance for a team of approximately 25 players as well as works alongside the president and vice president. They promote teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness and dedication to the sport. The team will travel to multiple tournaments in-state as well as out-of-state. This position spans the full academic year.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and supervise practices and games
- Promote teamwork and sportsmanship
- Design practice plan and help advise lineups
- Communicate effectively with Club Presidents, officers and players
- Provide advice on technique
- Coordinates in-game strategy
- Attend open gyms, tryouts, practices meetings and tournaments
- Lead practices three times a week
- Travel with team to tournaments up to five times in the fall and four times in the spring (For out-of-state tournaments hotel and airfare are paid for by the club)
- Support student leadership and athlete development
Qualifications
- Coaching at the high school level required, coaching at the collegiate level preferred
- Knowledge of skills for individual positions
- Provide references
- Education: high school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged standing
- Possible demonstrations of skills
- Occasional physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, or push heavy objects
- Requires travel
- $750-$1200 per semester

Lacrosse: Women's Head Coach
As a head coach, responsibilities will include:
- Planning and running practice
- Coaching and subbing during games
- Being the leadership figure (setting expectations, holding members responsible for missing practice, messing around, etc.)
- Providing plays and improving our level of play to achieve our end goal of being national champions
We are structured to provide a lacrosse-focused coaching role. The officers’ goal is to handle all off-field team management so our coach can maximize potential on the field. While this list covers the bare minimum of our expectations, we are happy to discuss the coach’s role beyond the above responsibilities.
We commit two seasons throughout the school year to our team: fall and spring.
Our fall off-season acts as a pre-tryout for members. It is a zero-cut season with three practice times a week and up to six local scrimmages. Our fall season runs from the beginning of September to early/mid-November.
Our regular spring season includes tryouts in January, limiting our team to 28 members. We travel 3-4 times out-of-state including the Santa Barbara Shootout, RMWLL Regional Tournament and WCLA National Tournament. We practice 4-5 times per week, games on weekends, as well as host our annual Mile High Invitation Tournament in April. The spring season runs from mid-January to early May.
$2,000-$4,000 per year based on experience and qualifications

Snowboarding: Head Coach
The Snowboarding team at the University of Colorado Boulder is looking for an eager and qualified park coach for the spring 2025 semester to introduce and train our athletes on the basics and technical aspects of slopestyle snowboarding. This is a unique opportunity that provides experience coaching riders of all skill levels.
This is a seasonal position that offers competitive pay and travel opportunities to Colorado resorts such as Copper, Steamboat and Winter Park. The role requires twice a week practices at Eldora Mountain Resort for “park progression sessions” as well as more advanced coaching.
- Expert Level rider with previous Park / Slopestyle experience
- Previous experience coaching Slopestyle and Park athletes
- Ability to instruct skills ranging from beginner to advanced
- Ability to communicate availability with a large group
- Available to coach at Eldora from 10-2 pm twice per week
- Leading and teaching a group of 5-20 riders on a set skill or technique through the terrain park
- Creating a coaching plan for each session that is inclusive of all skill levels
- Openly communicating with athletes providing positive and constructive feedback
- Responding to athletes with answers to questions
