The 31st Annual Barney Ford Diversity Scholarship Fundraiser

Join us as we celebrate the 31stAnnual Barney Ford Diversity Scholarship Fundraiser, organizedby current MBA students at Leeds School of Business.This event brings together MBA alumni, faculty and staff, current MBA students, and friends of the program—all with the common goal of increasing scholarship funds for students and improving diversity at Leeds. The fundraiser is cocktail-attire-optional, and will include silent and live auctions. Proceeds help fund student scholarships, with the overall goal of strengthening diversity in the MBA program and contributing to the strong sense of community we work hard to achieve.

Jay Boykin has nearly thirty years of corporate experience in finance and accounting roles. In his previous role as Vice President at Gogo Business Aviation, Jay worked closely with senior leadership teams to foster a thriving company culture, drive employee engagement, and align organizational goals with individual and team success. His expertise spans diverse industries, from corporate sectors to small businesses, with a focus on empowering leaders to create inclusive environments of mutual respect and collaboration.

As a business owner, Jay’s approach is grounded in the belief that personal growth and professional success are deeply intertwined and are rooted in our shared humanity. His work emphasizes the importance of mindfulness, resilience, and authentic leadership as key factors in unlocking organizational and individual potential. As a dynamic keynote speaker, Jay shares his unique insights on leadership, personal development, and organizational culture with audiences across various industries. His engaging presentations offer practical tools for leaders looking to build stronger teams, improve communication, and drive meaningful organizational change. Jay shares many of his insights on his podcast “Just Human”, and serves as a Board member on two non-profit boards.
