Do you want to promote diversity and inclusion? This course will empower and equip you to interact effectively with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our definition of diversity refers to gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, age, ability, religion, family composition, and diversity of thought, among other categories. You will learn how highly inclusive leaders use processes of social influence to help everyone feel valued and respected for their unique skills and experiences. And, you will deepen your understanding of the benefits of diversity.
You will study signature traits of inclusive leadership and how to apply them. You will deepen your self-awareness to enhance your strengths and identify areas to improve. You will develop your ability to create contexts where individuals have a strong sense of belonging. You will explore traditional and timely topics -- from listening, feedback, and collaboration, to privilege, implicit bias, and microaggressions. This course is valuable for current or aspiring leaders in ANY type of workplace -- in formal or informal roles -- who seek to achieve ANY type of goal. You will gain a wealth of perspectives and practices to help you cultivate inclusion to promote the power of diversity.
