Supervisor "How-To" series focuses on strategies to increase effectiveness as a virtual leader
The role of the supervisor has shifted in the past three months. Supervisors are now tasked with leading teams virtually, supporting the psychological needs of employees during a pandemic, and continuing to support the teaching, learning and research mission of CU Boulder.ÌýThe Supervisors How-To Series will provide leaders with relevant strategies to apply right now to increase their effectiveness.ÌýFour 60 minutes sessions will be offered over four consecutive weeks.ÌýWhile supervisors can register for any of these sessions, it is recommended that you complete all four.Ìý
Participants will learn how to:Â
- Align employee, performance, and department goals in uncertain and constantly changing timesÂ
- Drive strategy through and with teams by leveraging technology and engagement Â
- Build trust and resiliency virtually for you and your employee(s)Â
- Rethink feedback and accountability for today's reality Â
