Mark Meiser (ENVD'89) and Kate Sector (ENVD'19) returned to campus to be honored as recipients of the 2024 Environmental Design Alumni Awards.

The University of Colorado Boulder Program in Environmental Design has announced the recipient of the 2024 Environmental Design Alumni Awards. This year’s honoree for the Distinguished Alumni Award is Mark Meiser and the Young Designer Award recipient is Kate Sector. 

Kitty deKieffer, the wife of alumnus Robert C. deKieffer, assisted Environmental Design in organizing an endowment lunch event with alumni from deKieffer’s 1978 graduating class.

The University of Colorado Boulder Program in Environmental Design has announced the recipient of the 2023 Environmental Design Alumni Awards. This year’s honoree for the Distinguished Alumni Award is Nancy Blackwood and the Young Designer Award recipient is Thomas Hoffmann. 

This month, Environmental Design alumna Kate Sector and co-writers Nathan Jones and Shawhin Roudbari will be recognized by The Boulder Heritage Roundtable for their book “An Architecture of Dialogue: Learning from the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse.”

The Program in Environmental Design (ENVD) is proud to celebrate its design community by recognizing individuals who have demonstrated leadership and made significant contributions to the design and architectural professions and their communities.
