M.S. Student Awarded NWRI-AMTA Fellowship for Membrane Technology
Kendra Colyar, a M.S. candidate in our Environmental Engineering program,Ìýwas awarded a fellowship for membrane technology by the National WaterÌýResearch Institute and the American Membrane Technology Association.ÌýThe fellowship provides two years of funding at $10,000 per year for "solvingÌýwater supply and quality issues through the widespread application ofÌýmembrane technology. Kendra is working with Dr. John Pellegrino on the optimization of water re-use inÌýbiomass-to-fuel processing.
